Julie Feltwell
Managing Director

Julie is the Managing Director of Buffaload Logistics and has been with the company for some 7 years. She holds the O License for Avonmouth and is responsible for all aspects of the business. Julie’s technical background means that she is keen on procedures and documentation… all designed to keep VOSA happy.

Ian Perks
Business Development Director

Ian is the Business Development Director for Buffaload Logistics. His key role is to keep the business busy and is responsible for sales and marketing, account management and the general profit and loss of Buffaload. Ian has in excess of 19 years’ experience in national chilled distribution and prior to that was an air traffic controller.

 Liam Gimbert
General Manager

Liam is the General Manager for Buffaload and works on bringing special projects to fruition. Whilst based at Ellington, he is often to be found at our satellite sites. A former mechanic and keen skier – there isn’t much that Liam isn’t involved with in the business.

Caroline Bosworth
Head of People

Caroline is the Head of People for both Buffaload and Corkers Crisps. A fully qualified Member of the CIPD and JP, she is responsible for all matters relating to your employment, from employment contracts, pay matters, staff hearings, training and development, absence monitoring and general staff wellbeing. She also chairs the staff health and safety committee.

Katerina Silhanova
Operations Support Manager

Katerina is the Operations Support Manager for Buffaload Logistics and joined us from ADR division of Turners Soham Ltd. Katerina provides overall support to the planning and operational team. She is currently studying to achieve her NEBOSH National Diploma in Occupational Health and Safety.

David Johnson
Operations Support Manager

David joins Buffaload to provide a seamless support service to the logistics team. He has specific responsibility to maintain stringent processes and controls including risk assessment, driver compliance, infringements, driver hours and tachograph analysis, safety and economy across the fleet and throughout the UK logistics operation. David brings a wealth of knowledge built up over 10 years with Bartletts where he played a key role in produce and transport management.

Andy Cheesewright
Financial Controller

Andy is the Financial Controller for both Buffaload and Corkers Crisps and joined us earlier this year from Weetabix. His role is to control the finances across both of the businesses and to run the monthly payroll. He is a qualified Chartered Management accountant with experience in a wide range of industries from Formula 1 to Mobile Communication.

Ryan Smyth
Rental Manager

Ryan oversees the company’s expanding temperature controlled and ambient trailer rental fleet, taking the day-to-day responsibility for all vehicle rental and fleet coordination nationwide. He has 15 years industry experience and was previously a branch sales manager with a leading player in the truck and trailer rental sector.

Jim Blaber
Scottish Development & Operations Manager

Jim has responsibility for the company’s distribution hub in Livingston, West Lothian, Scotland. He has a background in retail and a wealth of operations and transport management experience.

Paul Robinson
Planning Manager

Paul is the Transport Manager at Buffaload and holds the O License for Ellington. He is responsible for ensuring that the logistics part of the business runs smoothly and efficiently. A keen fisherman, Paul is the point of contact for the transport team.

Darren Morton
Business Development Manager

Darren oversees new contracts and maximises efficiencies throughout the company’s fast-expanding UK operation. With nearly 20 years experience in the chilled food industry, Darren joins Buffaload from Co-operative Retail Logistics where, as National Planning Manager, he was responsible for the smooth delivery of perishable goods from farms and factories throughout the UK to Co-op RDCs.
